Today's 10-minute walk, at least for me, is happening before sunrise.

In fact, I don't even have early daylight yet.

It's one of those nights where I woke up early before I wanted to and was laying in bed going,

should I try to fall back asleep.

The quick answer was actually yes.

I tried and couldn't.

So decided to go ahead and get up and take my walk.

You might hear some construction sounds in the distance.

I'm walking near a construction site and obviously they have been doing

either they got a really, really early start or they've been working through the night.

Have you ever been to New York? Have ever been to Manhattan? When we lived in Maryland, it was a

three-hour drive from our home, which was really convenient.

Sometimes we would drive up to New York.

Sometimes we would take the bus.

They would have these tour buses, and you could take those up to New York.

You'd leave early in the morning and spend the day in Manhattan and then come home in the evening.

It was just wonderful. Took all of the kids to New York at different times, and really became

pretty familiar with Manhattan.

There was one time I was in New York, and it was a business trip, actually, and I think

it was two nights, so multiple days, and got up there early.

Took the train up.

This is one of those times where I took the train up since somebody else was paying for the transportation.
