Let's get into the mix. Here are your Washington headlines of the morning. Number one, lawmakers are heading to Israel as the crisis

0:54.3

in Gaza deepens. Number two, Dems are pushing for more info on what will happen if Obamacare

1:00.1

subsidies lapse at the end of the year. And number three, inside Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski's

1:06.4

big, beautiful bill pitch. Max, thanks so much once again for joining us and filling in for jake this

1:13.0

week on the daily punch we are starting this morning with an item that john bresnehan wrote looking at

1:19.6

kind of not only the meta situation in israel and gaza but in the particular uh and really what

1:25.8

it deals with us and our focus is on lawmakers heading to

1:30.6

Israel, despite the fact that the crisis in Gaza continues and just the overall global implications

as a lot of concern around the world and in the U.S. about what is happening in terms of the

1:42.2

humanitarian crisis. Yeah. And I think one of the most

1:50.9

to Israel this week in a trip organized by Steny Hoyer and Pete Aguilar. These are two stalwart

1:56.5

supporters of Israel within the Democratic caucus in the House at a time when being a pro-Israel

2:01.4

supporter is really growing out of favor among many Democrats. But I think the disparity here

2:06.8

between what the base is saying, which is let's cut off aid to Israel, we'll try to isolate

2:11.3

Netanyahu, and what a lot of Democrats are saying, which is we're still going to stand by

2:14.9

Israel, even if we don't agree with the Netanyahu government. I think that's a fascinating disparity. And we'll see how this plays out really over the next five to ten years in these Democratic primaries. We're seeing that support for Israel is quickly becoming a litmus test for some progressives. And we, I mean, we saw this in the Senate, right? I mean, we were just talking about this a week or so ago, where you had a provision that typically, you know, Senate of Bernard Sanders was supporting
