Zach Polanski, the new leader of the Green Party, has them rattled. They are panicking.

By then, I mean the British media elite, lovely crew, my beloved colleagues, the Labour Party

and the British Right. Now, I've got some choice examples, one of which is completely

toe-kirling. Do you brace yourselves? But the polling continues to show that the pie is surging.

In the latest yug of poll, the Greens are up to 16%, up from about 6% at the general election

last year. That leaves them just one point behind the Labour Party, and that's after only 15 months

of being in power when they won an election last year.

And that was because of the most catastrophic government in history.

They were handed government on a plate.

And now it's all come crashing down.

So that's the highest polling for the Greens in a UGov poll ever.

And it is the lowest polling for the Labour in a Yucav poll ever, and it is the lowest polling

for the Labour Party in the history of YGov. At this rate, the Greens are going to end up moving

ahead of the Labour Party, and then I'm afraid we're going to have to ask Labour candidates to

stand down to stop splitting the anti-reform vote. Seriously, though, a big danger for Labor here,

which obviously I would hate

to happen, is that a lot of what remains of their support would happily defect to the Greens.

They're just not convinced right now that the Greens would actually win. But what if they

decide the Greens aren't actually no hopers, especially if the polls cut through? Well, then Labor

might find that those remaining voters might end up defecting.

And then Labor would be in massive trouble.

Well, they're already in massive trouble.
