When I was 17 I was diagnosed with a severe disease and I was basically given the doctor said

you could be paralyzed in a year, year and a half.

It could take your life. It's progressed, we don't know why.

And the Lord, through a beautiful chain of events when I was 17, radically healed me, okay?

Beautiful process of the father coming to me with, I grew up in the church, I'm a pastor's kid. I grew up an amazing family. My dad and mom love God.

I grew up in an environment of great neediness for Jesus like the beautiful kind.

And so when I got sick at 17, really sick,

it rocked our family. But I just remember my dad kept saying,

Melissa, Jesus will come through. He always does.

And at 17 I'm like, well he's not. He will come through.

He always does.

And you know it progressed and I'm just going to tell the story because I've got time. It's so awesome because God is so awesome

and you don't need more theology you need story because testimony

testimony amps up the beauty of the glory of God, right?

But I'm going to blow through it fast because I usually do it in like two hours.

I have like 20 minutes.

So I'm 17, I'm sick, right? And I ended up leaving my hometown

because my mom and dad, like I said, love God, but they were a little overzealous about getting me healed and took me to every revival from like North Carolina to Florida, which is a long expanse of states. And I came't do another evangelist, Rhonda Shonda and me,

and you know, wanting me to fall out in the Holy Guest even though I love that.

Like I just need space and so I move in it the disease rapidly was increasing and they put me on an oral form of chemo and I started at one a day and then within two weeks I was having to take four or five a day.

Just to get out of bed. My hands would swell and freeze and super intense. And my mom comes to town and she's like, I, you know, I'm going to this meeting and you don't have to go, but it would be so awesome if you did because this guy has seen people

raised from the dead and like eyes pop out of people's head and like lens grow.
