Hey from CNN, I'm Josh and Sharna with the five things you need to know for Tuesday, October 28th.

The strongest storm on the planet this year is currently on track to hit Jamaica.

The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, could cause total structural failure, also warning of catastrophic flash flooding.

Emergency responders on the island have already received reports of landslides and downed power lines,

while the National Minister for Health and Wellness says at least three people have already

died preparing for the storm.

It is just south of Jamaica right now.

175 mile per hour sustained winds gusting to 215.

It's only moving to the north-northeast at 2 miles per hour.

I want to put this in perspective.

The average human walks at about 3 to 4-mph hour pace,

so you can walk faster than this particular

storm is going right now. And the biggest concern going forward with the storm is really going to

be the rainfall. The pressure for this particular storm is 901 millibars. This actually beats

Hurricane Katrina's strength of its storm based off of pressure. Now to Japan, where President Donald Trump has just spoken to U.S. troops at the Yokosuka

Naval Base.
