After a night of convincing GOP holdouts, President Donald Trump's big, beautiful bill is set to pass the House this morning.

CNN's Brian Todd is at the Capitol and explains to us how the holdouts were brought over.

Especially over the past 24 hours, Speaker Johnson and President Trump have really been

trying to court those hardliners who are holding out into turning to their side.

There were five Republican holdouts on the floor until just a couple of hours ago.

They were Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, Thomas Massey, Andrew

Clyde, Victoria Sparts and Keith Self, four out of those five came around, and of course

all of these members and all of those holdouts think how this is going to play in their

re-election campaigns next year.

The bill is now set to be signed into law by President Trump, who had said he'd like

to do so tomorrow on the 4th of July.

Police in Chicago say four people were killed and another 14 wounded in a drive-by shooting

last night.

They say at least one person in a dark-colored vehicle opened fire as they drove past a group

of people in the 300

block of West Chicago Avenue.

Two women and two men were killed.

The men were aged 24 and 25, but the ages of the women were not given.

The injured range in age from 21 to 31 and were taken to multiple hospitals in the area.

Negotiators are waiting for Hamas' response after an Israeli official said their country

has accepted Trump's 60-day Gaza ceasefire and hostage release proposal.
