House Speaker Mike Johnson appears to have convinced GOP holdouts to support the Big Beautiful bill after allowing it to reach the floor for a vote.

CNN caught up with the Speaker at the Capitol in the early hours this morning,

who's now confident he'll be able to pass President Donald Trump's sweeping domestic policy bill shortly.

Yep, we'll be going to the floor. Some people will be changing their vote and voting

for the first time. We'll pass the rule. We'll go straight into debate. An hour is allotted,

but it probably goes a couple hours because the leader hits a magic

minute so that could drag on.

And then we'll be voting on final passage between 6, 7, 8 a.m. We'll just see how it goes.

Republicans, including President Trump and Speaker Johnson, spent the night trying to convince

nearly a dozen GOP holdouts to support the legislation.

That includes some House hardliners who have complained the package would add $3.3 trillion

to the deficit over the next decade, as well as moderate-leaning members who have concerns

about Medicaid cuts.

Sean Diddy Combs will be staying behind bars as he waits to be sentenced.

A jury found him guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

As CNN's Keras Canel tells us, since Combs was acquitted of the most serious charges of racketeering

conspiracy and sex trafficking, he was caught off guard when he was denied bail.

The judge denied releasing Combs on bail, saying that there was a history of violence and

that Combs had blatantly disregarded the law. Combs seemed surprised by that. His eyes had

widened, his mouth had dropped open. And at one point, he wanted to talk to the judge,
