Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome. I am Karen Hunter. And this week I am focusing on sitting with yourself to be your best self. So I interviewed this gentleman. I read an article about what he was doing at the

University of Pennsylvania. He is the chair of the Religious Studies Department there. And he teaches a

class where during the class they read a book, every class. They read a book and they discuss it

separately in the class. They shut out the lights and then they come and they have a

discussion about the book in class and it may take four or five hours. And that class is one of

most popular classes at the University of Pennsylvania. But I had an interview with him on the radio

and I was so enamored by this man's journey as a human being that I had to talk to him more. So I made time with him. He was on the way to

the airport to pick up his daughter. And we talked for a couple of hours while he was driving

from Pennsylvania to New York to pick her up. And it was fascinating. And I hope it will be kind of a

blueprint for some of you if you are on a journey of discovery of yourself.

This man's story was so inspiring that I broke it into several parts.

Part one is the actual interview that I did with him on my radio show on Sirius XM,

which you can listen to Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 p.m. Eastern on Channel 126. So this is the

introduction. And then after that, I'm sharing with you a journey that he took us on that
