Donald Trump's hush money trial.

And Stormy Daniels, the recipient of the hush money payments at the heart of the case, took the stand.

Right now, the defense is cross-examining Daniels, with attorneys trying to depict her as vindictive,

and out to get Donald Trump.

The adult film actress has been testifying

for much of the day telling jurors in graphic detail about her alleged sexual

encounter with Mr. Trump in 2006. She also testified about the money she received to stay silent amid the

Trump campaign scrambled to protect their candidates image following the release of the

Axis Hollywood tape. The graphic nature of Danos' testimony led Mr. Trump's attorney to seek a mistrial

arguing that it was out of bounds and tainted the jury with lurid details

irrelevant to the case. The former president's lawyers pleaded with the judge,
