1:11.5	I'm Kristen Welker in Washington. We begin with President Biden's son, Hunter Biden, reaching a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in a Delaware after a years-long investigation. This is the first time in history the Justice Department has brought charges against the child of a sitting president. Hunter Biden is expected to plead guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes. Two sources familiar
1:17.2	with the agreement tell NBC News the Trump-appointed U.S. attorney has agreed to recommend probation,
1:22.6	so no prison time for the president's son. Biden also faces a separate felony gun possession charge.
1:28.3	That will likely be dismissed if he meets certain conditions. The agreement also suggests
1:32.7	prosecutors did not find cause to charge Hunter Biden in relation to his business dealings
1:37.3	with foreign entities. We are expecting to hear from President Biden shortly at an event on AI
