Hello, everybody. This is going to be a Meet the Nation Monday recorded on a Tuesday after missing last Monday. I know, I know, okay? I had to go and crew Barry at Badwater, and that race started on a Monday and that screwed up the whole recording schedule. But I'm trying to write the ship, and I'm going to do so by finally interviewing someone

today.

There's a little bit of room left in the race.

forward to seeing everybody at Last Dot Standing. What else do I got? I saw a lot of people at Badwater

that I didn't know and that I would have not recognized in a million years. And in conversation,

they let it slip out that they listen to every single episode and they love the show, which always catches me off guard because I always think there's only like 30 of you listening

to the show and that you are the people that I know. It's always amazing to me when there's

just complete strangers that I've never seen before. And they've never emailed me and they're not

in Slack. They're in the nation. They're just runners who just listen. And that always blows me away and makes me excited to go back and do some more podcasts like I am today with Brittany Tracy.

I was thinking that when you wear those run T.J.M.

shirts, it's kind of like wearing a shirt that says, let's run together.

Maybe we can, you know, trade objects or, you know, take care of each other later down the road.

It's like a universal sign that I'm a cool and accessible trail runner that you can hang out with, you know.
