Happy Monday. That means it's Meet the Nation Monday. This is where we do these short little interviews of people that listen to the podcast just to get to know them better and to get to know each other better because then we're eventually going to run with each other at the Badger Trail races and that'll be cool.

I also like to plug organizations and things that people that are in our group are working on.

And so I wanted to put in a plug for a nonprofit on behalf of Jennifer Holdley, which is Girls in the Run, which is an incredible organization that works with girls grades three through eight.

It's a lot more in the running program. It hits girls at a critical stage, strengthening their confidence at a time when society begins to tell them they can't underscore the important connection between physical and emotional health.

The program addresses the whole girl when she needs it most evidence shows that girls in the run makes a stronger impact on both organized sports and physical education in teaching life skills that benefit girls at home at school and with their friends.

The program is the only one of its kind when they focus how important the important connection between mind and body, their combination of targeted lessons and physical activity and skills confidence and nurturing care and compassion in every girl.

So if you want to learn more about girls on the run or become a coach for girls on the run or register your girl or just donate so that no girls ever turned away due to financial issues, you can visit girls on the run dot org.

So that's a really good organization and Jen Holdley's working on it and you guys should go get involved.
