I have had an interesting career journey

that I can't wait to share with you,

but I am most proud of the nonpartisan movement I helped create called I am a

voter. Welcome to our podcast. We wanted to take the opportunity in our first

episode to introduce ourselves and why we created the list of these incredible dissenters.

I know that we've all experienced and urge in our lives at some point to give back or

scream about an injustice, but taking that first step to actually doing something about it can

seem really scary. And there's always that nagging doubt and the many, many questions.

And we get it, balancing personal lives with work and the demands of every day can already be daunting.

So we wanted to honor the people who just made the decision one day to do the thing.

The thing they couldn't let go of, the thing that kept them up at night,

the thing they would forever regret not doing. And through these stories we will

explore the steps they took toward making a difference, how they

overcame their fears and managed the insane demands that still awaited them in their personal

and professional lives. And we hope hope through this we can give you

some inspiration new role models and even a roadmap to going after your thing.

We also wanted to dispel the belief that activism is something that other people do or that it's something that you need experience for or you need like tons of followers or tons of money because none of that is true.
