but you know all about their work.

In their book, for colored girls who have considered politics,

they describe themselves as hidden figures of American politics.

From Bill Clinton to Barack Obama to Hillary Clinton, they've been a part of it all.

But they cut their teeth on Jesse Jackson's presidential campaigns in the 80s and in working with civil rights icons

hear all about their story right now.

So I want to start the conversation by asking, why do you proactively and insistently call yourselves the colored girls.
