I mean, many of us know from previous sermons and lessons that she was probably trying to avoid the other women.

She wasn't wanting to come with the rest of them. Why? Because of her reputation.

How many people knew? Her track record with men. But I just want to ask you a question.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that sometimes our willingness to go further than we'd have to

is more about what we want to avoid?

Anybody instead of letting your kids take the bus, like you're going to drive them 10 miles further

because you're trying to avoid something closer?
