Yeah, that's exactly right.

I'm at work on a book about the Harvard affirmative action cases.

This is a lawsuit from a coalition of plaintiffs who assert that Harvard discriminates against

Asians to vindicate its race preferences.

It's a case of the Supreme Court.

We'll hear some time this fall likely in October.

So we want to stay focused on domestic politics today because what's lost in this important

news cycle about what's happening over in Europe is the fact that we have a Supreme Court

nomination battle that's playing out right now here in Washington, DC, and we have a nominee

who has been extremely undercover and is probably not known by much of the public despite

the fact that she's fairly young and if confirmed, as is likely, will be an extremely consequential

force in American politics, American culture, and American life for decades to come in all

likelihood.
