Wow, so excited today. We're journeying into a new series called People to Find Print.

Anybody excited about that? But yeah, not sure exactly what it is yet, but give me a few minutes

It's one of the Beatles, of course, and everybody knows that. No, okay, we got some little flaws

impressive. Most people know his name as being the first human being to ever set foot on the

highest point on planet Earth. First summit of Mount Everest, which is the highest mountain

on Earth. Some of you are like, this is all get on the same page. First person to set foot

on Everest, which is a real mountain in the Himalayas, Sir Edmund Hillary. His name was Edmund

Hillary before he set foot on the top of Mount Everest. He was knighted obviously by

Queen Elizabeth II after that accomplishment happened on May 28th, 1953. That's why a lot

of us don't remember much about it. The expedition was John Hunt's expedition, the knight's expedition

to Everest. These expeditions would take a long time and they would involve a lot of people,

but eventually there was a sprint to the summit on the right day, May 28th, 1130 in the morning.

And Edmund Hillary is known as the one who first set foot at 29,028 feet above sea level.
