Meditation: Receiving Life in Open Awareness (2016-10-05) - Our habit is to try to manage our experience from a mental control tower. This meditation awakens us through the body, and then invites us to rest in that vast presence that includes the changing flow of life. When we inhabit that openness, there's a natural arising of peace, wakefulness and tenderness.

| 0:50.0 | We will take some moments to scan down through the body relaxing and waking up from the inside out. |
| 1:08.0 | You might feel the region of the eyes softening the eyes, letting the brow be smooth. |
| 1:21.0 | Just feel the aliveness, the tingling, vibrating, perhaps a sense of darkness and light to the lids. |
| 1:34.0 | Let your senses be awake, letting the jaw be unhinged, the tongue filling, the lower jaw. |
| 1:49.0 | Relax down to the root of the tongue. |
| 1:53.0 | You might sense a slight smile at the mouth, a smile in the inside of the mouth. |
| 2:01.0 | And receiving the sensations in the region of the mouth, the thumbs, the teeth, the tongue, the lips. |
| 2:17.0 | Letting the shoulders fall away from the neck, allowing the shoulders to be filled with awareness, so that whatever you feel inside, whether it's a tightness or twin staying or pressure, whatever's there, not, just letting it float in awareness. |
| 2:48.0 | Loosen loosely. |
| 2:53.0 | You might sense a gradual dissolving, kind of movement of sensations. Sometimes it's like iced water, a melting. |
| 3:08.0 | Just letting the light of awareness do the work. |
| 3:14.0 | Ice to water, water to gas. |
| 3:23.0 | Noticing if you can sense more space inside the shoulders. |
| 3:30.0 | Space and aliveness. |
| 3:39.0 | Let the hands rest in an easy and effortless way, softening the hands. |
| 3:53.0 | Again, feeling the hands filled with awareness, receiving the aliveness of tingling and vibrating. |
| 4:07.0 | And also the space that it's happening in. |
| 4:28.0 | Let there be an openness to the chest. |
| 4:33.0 | Feel the whole region of the heart filled with awareness. |
