Well, sickle cell anemia or sickle cell disease is a genuine scourge for people who are afflicted with it.

It afflicts mainly blacks in the US of African descent and normally red blood

cells that of course transport oxygen to all the tissues of our body are shaped like a frisbee.

They're a discus, but in sickle cell anemia there's a mutation in hemoglobin that causes
