Today, I was thinking it would be a good day to celebrate a new holiday.

And it's not today specifically, but for the last few weeks, you know,

it's a window of time in the year of 2011, late 2011, where for the first time in my lifetime,

the term police state has now reached mainstream status. It's no longer a term used by people

on the fringes, you know, people who are so-called ultra-leftist or conspiracy theorists.

It is now a term you hear echoed all over the place.

I see it, you know, from every day on Facebook, I see at least five people using the term police date.

I hear it on the mainstream media.

You know, you don't get shot down anymore if you're a talking head and you use this term.

And that's something to celebrate.

So everybody out there, mark this on your calendars.

Even just a year ago, I remember I wrote an article about the impending police state.

And, you know, and it seemed like, it just seems so abstract for people who haven't, who are just not really engaged on a day-to-day basis. And they're just like, what are you talking about? Like, oh, stop complaining. Do you think you don't have freedoms here? Like, fucking china and you're like whatever but yeah i mean
