David's the co-author of the 35 articles of impeachment and the case for prosecuting George W. Bush.

He was press secretary for Dennis Kucinage's 2004 presidential campaign and is the

co-founder of afterdowningstreet.org, creator of convictbushchaney.org, and Washington

director of Democrats.com, a board member of Progressive Democrats of America, the backbone campaign,

and voters for peace, and a member of the legislative working group of United

for Peace and Justice. He has written two bestselling books, daybreak, undoing the imperial

presidency and forming a more perfect union, and war is a lie. Here is the interview with David

I'm really excited to talk to you. Sure, sure.

So I know you're a busy man.

Let's just get started.

Why don't we start by just you telling our audience who you are, a little bit about your

professional background and how you got politically awakened?

Well, I don't know.

A quick-snapy answer to that, but I guess have been more increasingly involved

in political activism for the past decade or more.

And I got a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Virginia here in Charlottesville,

and that and a dollar you can get a bus ride, that's about it.

And I went into newspaper reporting, worked at newspapers here in Virginia,

and I ended up on the PR side of things working for uh...
