0:11.8	Peter Francis Lasuada. Bartuamier-Scarrupa is co-founder and executive director of groundwork opportunities.
0:18.8	He holds a BA in finance from the University of Illinois and has
0:21.6	seven years working experience in management and information technology consulting. He's held
0:26.6	numerous management positions in 10 plus Fortune 500 companies implementing efficient business
0:31.6	practices in the USA and Europe and has five years of experience working in the nonprofit sector
0:36.5	in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Asia,
0:39.7	from frontline jobs to systematic development work.
0:43.9	Peter Francis Lasswata is the director of the Ugandan Rural Community Support Foundation, URCSF,
0:50.8	and the country director for groundwork opportunities Uganda programs.
0:54.8	Peter was born and raised in the Masaka region of Uganda, where his programs are currently based.
1:00.4	He studied both in Uganda and the U.S. and his work extensively with the Mercy Corp.
1:05.5	He is an experienced communicator and leader in working with international volunteers
1:10.1	and has a passion for helping
1:11.6	children in the poor because he sees the potential in building his community through education
