The weather is interesting today.

It's a very foggy morning.

I'm walking before sunrise, but I've got early daylight so it's not totally dark,

and I can see the fog that's pretty thick.

I did not think it was going to rain today, yesterday.

Check the weather, I think last night.

And while there is some rain expected later today,

I didn't see anything this morning.

Well, just before I started recording,

I hear and feel this little bit of dripping.

It's like, really?

Because I don't have an umbrella.

But it was momentary and the dripping has stopped, so maybe I'm good for the next 10 minutes.

If not, there will be an added layer to today's episode.

I've done enough home improvement projects in my years to understand the maxim to measure twice, cut once.

And this doesn't just apply to construction, really.

It's one of those truths that works in so many different areas of life.
