Over the course of his career, John Meacham has been a journalist, a TV pundit, and a

Pulitzer Prize winning historian.

Having written books about everybody from Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson to George

H.W. Bush and John Lewis.

But last week, Meacham did something he never expected he'd do.

He spoke at the Democratic National Convention that nominated Joe Biden for president.

We'll talk to Meacham about how and why he came to give that speech, and we'll get

his historians take on the Trump presidency on this episode of Skull Duggery.
