that I've read that has greatly influenced me as an entrepreneur. I share with you

its takeaways and why you should read it too. And today's must read is Deep Work by Cal Newport. This book

was recommended to me by a friend Jason Zook and when he told me what the book

was about I quickly got interested and grab my Kindle and downloaded the book off Amazon.

And this is the first time I've read any work from Cal Newport, but after reading this book, I'll tell you

it's not going to be the last. I'm looking forward to picking up his other books as well because

it was that impactful. This book, Deep Work, is all about making the choice of what kind of

work do you want to do? What kind of significant mark do you want to make on the world?

And how to create that kind of work and not be distracted by what's called shallow work?

Things that take our attention, things that don't really have much of value that don't have much meaning

whether that's email or social media very rarely does a tweet change the world

but deep work can and has for centuries. I'm gonna get into into what deep work is, the takeaways from the book and why you should read it, but right off the bat, this is a tremendous read. This is one of the best books I've read this year. So let's get into it. Let's get down to business.
