how do I fight a chargeback?

A chargeback is when a customer goes through their bank to fight a charge.

And basically the bank contacts you or your payment processor and says, we are fighting this

charge.

Please refund this money.

Now this usually happens when a customer wants to refund a product or some sort of service,

pass the refund policy. They may have asked for a refund and you let them know that, hey, the policy is such and such and you have gone beyond the policy.

There are other instances.

It's quite rare where people just don't recognize the charge on the credit card.

But usually that's the case.

That's how a charge like happens.
