Firstly, a chief executive officer is not always the business owner. A CEO often has a stake in the company, but for our purposes

most of us are small business owners and by the way the definition of a small

business by the Better Business Bureau is having less than 500 employees.

So I think most of us are in that range.

So for our case, the CEO is the owner or a owner of the business.

But if you ever do get to that size, a larger business, you may want to be a stakeholder but not the CEO. You might find somebody that's better at it that can take over the job. But for today's lesson we're going to assume
