There's many reasons why I did this, but there's one big reason.

And I'll explain the little ones and the big one in today's episode.

One of the things I talk about on the show a lot is how valuable your time is.

Time is more valuable than anything you possess. It's the number one

capital that you have control over. You can always make more money but you can't

make more time. So how we use our time is so important.

And the truth of the matter is that these social media apps on our phone, they're designed

to take your time. They're designed to keep you on the app as long as possible.

They have experts working in large teams trying to figure out how to make sure we take their time. And we can always tell ourselves a story

and say we're bulletproof and we have self-control and I'm never on the app that much anyway

and I only use it to you know post but it's bigger than that and I'll only use it to post but it's bigger than that and I'll explain in

today's episode and maybe challenge you to try the same so let's get into it

let's get down to business. For those who've been following me for some time you know that I

took a break from social media for about 18 months in 2017. This means I was

totally off social media. It was off my phone. I never visited it on the web on my computer.

I literally put a post on every social media app, pinned it and said, hey, I'm taking a leave of

absence, see you later. And guess what happened to my business?
