business but I hate technology should I find a techie partner thanks for your

question James is a good one I'm gonna you an answer, so let's get down to business.

All right, James, you're asking if you should take on a partner who's a little bit more

technical, a little bit more of a techie than you are because you want to start an online

business, but you hate technology.

First of all, I do think you should be acquainted with how to use your website, how to edit a

blog post, how to add information, and this is not particularly difficult now with some of the platforms you have available.

I mean you have WordPress and you have Squarespace, which is extremely easy to use.

You do not need to be techie.

You can learn how to use Squarespace in a weekend and you can just focus on your content.

So I don't think you should be looking for a partner solely because they are a techie.

They also have to have the same values as you, have the same vision for the business, because a partner means

they're sharing equity. That means they're sharing a part of the business and part of the revenue.

And I'm not saying getting a partner is a bad idea. It could be a great idea. Heck, me and a coal are partnership. So I don't necessarily

think that you should not get a partner, but I don't think you should get a partner solely based on this idea of

just because you don't like technology.
