Product documentation allows you to plan a focused product, whatever that product is or service

for that matter. A lot of people skip this step when

creating a business and creating new products or offerings and it's a big mistake. I

used to skip this step. Thankfully I do not do this anymore and it's really helped

us produce better products and services. Now I know you're thinking oh this is

going to be boring and tedious and time-consuming., it doesn't have to be.

You're going to invest some time, but not too much.

And product documentation doesn't have to be too long.

In fact, if it's concise, you'll use it as a reference more often.

Product documentation is not the tutorials or the manual for the product.

It's the documentation that you're going to use to build the product, to build the offering,

whether it's of course a software, a physical product, or even a service we're going to be offering.

It's a detailed plan so you know if you're on track and you're fulfilling the goal of the product.

Every successful product you ever bought has gone through this procedure.
