Coincidence Yesterday March 25th was the 96th birthday of Jim Lovell.

Some of you will remember Jim Lovell because you knew Jim Lovell,

and some of you will remember Jim Lovell because you watch the movie Apollo 13.

And Jim Lovell was the captain of that mission.

And oddly, Mission.

And oddly, well, not oddly, it was his birthday.

So yesterday, we announced on the evening show that it was a 96th birthday of Jim Lovell and it was one of my favorite

interviews I ever did it was it was hard to get the interview done because it wasn't

doing interviews anymore but his son is a listener and Jim lives I believe in Chicago do you remember

He has a restaurant up there and still he was still activist a few years ago

But he he has a son I believe who lives here still lives in Clear Lake because of course they lived they lived in the Clear Lake area when he was at NASA. Apollo 13 really brought that story to America and this challenge.

And I think Americans are naturally drawn to these stories of drama with redemption?

What was the little girl that fell in the hole?

I remember what?

Jessica, yeah?

But you don't remember, I guess that's all we knew was Jessica.

I remember being spellbound by that story.

And I remember feeling personally invested in hoping she got out. I didn't know this little kid. I had no

reason but I wanted her to get out. I remember when Elizabeth Smart was discovered. I remember feeling like you know the heavens opened you know when

when people I this surprised me but you know the guys that went down in the submarine and you learned that they were missing?

I had some kind of ridiculous hope that they were alive.
