I'm not on TikTok, but many people are, and it has turned out to be a device used by

the Chinese Communist Party, but it's also turned out to be a device used by people to

tell some good stories.

Quick little bits of good stories.

It was a fellow named Sean Warner, and he was promoting his debut novel.

He was promoting it at a Kroger in Dallas, and the truth is, most books never make a

dime.

And there's the author.

He's written a book.

He's either self-published it or he's managed to get a publisher to publish it.

And there he is.

At the Kroger, nobody's coming around.

He's waiting to sign his book, but there's no real promotion for anybody to come around

and find the book.

So this guy who has one of these viral followings named Jared Swear engine notices him.

And he goes up and he films his interaction with the book novel.

And it was supposed to just be kind of a, hey, yeah, well, good luck.

And then everything changed.

The author of this book's an Army veteran.

He'd lost his job a few years back after layoffs at his company, but he never gave up.
