8 year old Maisa was stuck watching and waiting.

Again. All she wanted to do was shoot some oops or kick a soccer ball around in a school gym.

But the boys in her class told her to sit on the bench and wait her turn.

This made Maisa so mad.

She didn't want to just sit there and wait.

She wanted to sprint and score, jubberling pass.

Maisa was sick of being pushed to the sidelines.

It happened during school and after school and at the path, and all over.

All around her, boys were taking up space and moving their bodies.

Maisa dreamed of a place where girls could do the same.

Little did Maisa know a lot of other girls in

On this episode, Maisa, a proud member of team Go Girls who is challenging herself and other girls to take up space and play. Meissa was born in an area of France called Montreal and moved to suburb called

Pantant in 2019. Pantant is a very busy neighborhood outside of Paris,

full of dense housing and old warehouses brought back to life.

The busy energy fell fitting to Maisa, just like Arnibou, she was full of energy and new ideas, always changing and growing.

But the crowded streets and parks left little room for Marisa to move.

It felt like every time she tried to go to the gym at the gym at the gym,

there were other people already playing there, especially boys, many of

whom didn't think girls could play sports. Mesa wasn't the only girl

experiencing these problems.
