We were just talking with Tim Dunn about whether or not there was a report going to come out today on the Plaza Gate scandal.

From last summer, you may remember it. The Healy administration was going to take a bid for a

a 35-year contract for the service plazas on the mass turnpike and a handful of others on Route 24

and elsewhere, but mainly they were Turnpike service plazas.

And a local company had offered, I believe, $1.5 billion, and an Irish company had offered $600 million.

And they were going to take the Irish company because they were backed by the

hacks and the connected people and all the right lobbyists. They were going to screw the local

company. And we got involved in it. The Herald got involved in it. I got involved with it. The

Howie Car Radio Network got involved with it and we stopped the deal i i'm

very happy about what we did we we saved the state we stopped them from taking a deal that was

going to cost the taxpayers nine hundred million dollars nine hundred million dollars just to take

care of some connected hacks that the Healy administration wanted to
