Summary

When I first introduced you to Sally Mueller in the Spring of 2022, her company, Womaness was just ramping up. But, in addition to changing the conversation around menopause, according to a recent article in Women’s Wear Daily, Womaness Founders Sally Mueller and Michelle Jacobs set out to start their brand’s third fundraise a bit differently. They’re working with three LA based investors—Carol Cheng, Annie Belanger and Ellen Chen to form a special purpose vehicle. By doing this, women of all ages and investor experience were able to come to the cap table with checks ranging from $5,000 to $50,000—ultimately raising Womaness $1MM—and the brand is still raising.

Womaness aims to create a community full of inspired women who embrace menopositvity. This is a story I love because it is one rooted in what I believe is a brand’s greatest asset—their community.

Masonia at Target? She was part of that collaboration and getting it off the ground.

And if you remember, like I remember, the lines were out the door at Target and around the corner
