privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi everyone, it's Sally Clarkson and you are finding me in Oxford on a Saturday night

and I'm trying to record this podcast for Monday morning, but I always try to catch up a little

bit with where I am in life because I feel like I'm getting the most wonderful letters

and notes from you and I feel like we are friends just catching up every week through letters

that actually is a podcast and I love knowing what's going on in your life and I'm sharing

with you what's going on in my life. And we had a very busy weekend this weekend because

our friend and singer songwriter Andrew Peterson was here performing his beautiful poetic

and lovely songs and a church here in town. So we were at that, Clay and I have been doing

stuff together every night which has been lots of fun and then we had Andrew and all of his

folks in this morning and anyway it's just been a crazy busy and it's so beautiful here

right now. It's chilly and cold but we're about to lose the last messages of the most beautiful

fall scenery that you can imagine and so joy and I had to get in our several mile walk this

morning and see you're finding me here before I'm going out for Italian food tonight to celebrate

a little bit of life with joy and Clay and we've been with Baby Lilly and Thomas and Sarah. So

that's my life. It's just been so busy and I was so kind to Clay because he came in town

just in time for me to get a terrible respiratory cold infection and I lovingly passed it on to him.

I'm sure that you all all have weeks like this but in between we've had so much fun catching up

and talking with each other and getting excited about what's happening in the next few months
