Russia says it's waiting for Ukraine's response to May ceasefire an offer of direct talks.

The Kremlin said that Ukraine had not responded to many offers by Russian President Putin

to start direct peace negotiations and that it was clear,

unclear whether it would join a three-day ceasefire. Mr. Putin has announced for next month

around the celebration of the victory for the Great Patriotic War of 1945. This will be the 80th
