Now let's go back to May 27, 1973, to Rochester, New York.

The city was unusually quiet that Saturday as 24-year-old Betty Tyson walked into her local

watering hole. When she asked the bartender what was going on, he said the cops were

sweeping the neighborhood. Apparently, they'd found a dead body in an alley and were looking for the killer.

Betty was shocked by the news, but knowing the crime had nothing to do with her, she went about

her day as planned. When she returned to the tavern later, the bartender said the police

had stopped by with a picture of the suspect. It was Betty.

Rattled, Betty went right to her mother's house.
