Now let's go back to Yuba City, California on May 26, 1971. As the night war on, a group of sheriff's deputies grew tired and impatient.

They've been working for hours excavating along the riverbank of a farm. To aid in their search, firefighters had set up floodlights to illuminate

the dark landscape. They were searching for dead bodies. Six days earlier, a peach farmer in the area had noticed a freshly dug hole in his orchard.
