Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one, the massacre in Texas.

Number two, what we learned in Tuesday's primaries. And number three, Amy Klobuchar is readying

a new big tech bill. This is a difficult morning for everybody. so let's just be clear about that. This is

the massacre in Texas yesterday in Yuvaldi, Texas is gut-wrenching. 19 young children and two

adults were murdered at Rob Elementary School. The school was scheduled to, according to media reports, the school was scheduled to close on Thursday for the summer.

And it's just absolutely gut-wrenching.

The gunman reportedly bought two assault rifles on his birthday, which he used in the shooting.

He wore body armor during the attack,

and officials in Yuvaldi had to use DNA to identify the bodies of the children of the deceased.

What do you even say about this besides it is sick and demented? And Congress is getting ready to do

nothing, to be clear.

At this point, sitting here this morning in the 5 o'clock hour on Wednesday morning after a night of reporting on Capitol Hill,

it's difficult to see anything happening.
