And I'm Anna Palmer. We've got a bunch of interesting campaign finance nuggets to kick off your day.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has spent nearly $400,000 buying 25,000 copies of Representative Dan Crenshaw's book Fortitude for donors.

They used the book to entice Republicans to give money.

A party official said the promotion raised the NRCC $1.5 million.

A campaign filing made public Wednesday showed more than $240,000 of these purchases

from politics and pros. The party official told us the remainder of the purchases will appear on the

next campaign finance filing. Mike Bloomberg's presidential campaign spent nearly a million

dollars with the law firm Venable in April. The Markham Group,

which did Bloomberg's events, got nearly $3.3 million from the Bloomberg campaign.

The biggest donor to Joe Biden's Superpack is Anita and Joshua Beckenstein. Joshua is a

manager of Bainan Company. They gave Unite the Country, Biden's Superpack, $500,000.

And Senate Leadership Fund got $5 million from Charles Schwab and his wife.

Zach Montalero reports that Georgia Republican Senator Kelly Leffler's husband

cut a million dollar check to a pro-Trump super PAC. Timothy Mellon, a member of the

Mellon family, gave $10 million to the Trump Super PAC America First Action.

And America First Action spent $1.3 million on legal fees, according to the Washington Post.
