Some news at the top, five House committee chairs have written the White House

Council and AG Bill Barr requesting documentation behind the White House's decision to argue

that Obamacare should be struck down. If they don't get an answer by May 24th, they are

threatening to consider alternative means of obtaining compliance. The chairman are

Elijah Cummings, Frank Pallone, Richie Neal, Bobby Scott, and Jerry Nadler. And Montana,

Governor Steve Bullock, is jumping into the 2020 presidential race. Jen Ryder will be the campaign

manager, Megan Simpson, the Iowa State Director, Gailia Slayin, the comms director, and Jeremy

Bush, the Iowa Press Secretary. Mattis Goldman of Three Point Media will be the media consultant.

Bullock is launching his campaign at Helena High School and will go to Des Moines Thursday and

make stops across Iowa, Friday, and Saturday. And the New York Times is the latest on Beto O'Rourke's 2020 reboot.
