Over the last few days, banks and their research arms have sent a flurry of analyses of the president's trade policies.

Most are warning of dire consequences. Goldman

Sachs said two detailed academic studies point to larger effects on U.S. consumer prices than we

had previously estimated. Bank of America Merrill Lynch called it the blue-collar blues.

The Washington Post has a story of detailing the risks associated with Trump's approach on trade,

with some continuing to warn him it might backfire.

Here's where the president's head is at.

AP is breaking news this morning. Saudi Arabia has put out a statement that two of its oil tankers were damaged by sabotage attacks on the coast of the United Arab Emirates.

One of the ships was on its way to pick up Saudi oil to take to the U.S.
