Max, let's talk about Honduras, where you recently reported from. Big news coming out of there recently

where the president, Juan Orlando Hernandez, was recently named by a U.S.

District Court as a co-conspirator in a drug trafficking case. This comes amidst ongoing protests

in Honduras that have pretty much been ignored by the corporate media against his presidency.

Talk about what's going on there.

Right, a federal court in New York accused Juan Orlando Hernandez,

the U.S.-backed president of Honduras,

of financing his presidential campaign in 2017,

in which he, according to the organization of American states,

stole the election, just straight up stole it, according to the organization of American states, stole the election,

just straight up stole it, shut down the vote for a few nights and then declared himself to

Victor with $1.5 million in profits from cocaine sales. Hernandez's brother, Tony Hernandez,

was arrested in Miami and is currently facing trial for drug trafficking.

And one of the things he's accused of is of receiving bags of cocaine with his initials on

them.

I don't know if those initials stood for something else, but it doesn't seem very wise.

Clearly something's going on there.

We hear very little about this in US

media, but more than that, there is a national uprising in Honduras that has been going

on since 2017, since the theft of the election. And it involves all sectors of society, indigenous
