I'm Dave Before here with Mo to Kiel for your weekend update.

It's late night, Sunday night post- game show. And Mo, we're going to

go in a little bit of a time machine before we talk about Sunday night's game all the way

back to Friday because we need to add context to Sunday's game. And game two between the Mavericks

and the Timberwolves had people

talking all weekend and we're just going to start at the end. The Mavericks came back from

down 18 and this is game two in Minnesota. It's a game that Minnesota had to happen. You can't

lose your first two games at home. You know, you work all year to get home court advantage.

You can't have it happen.

You definitely can't blow an 18-point lead.

And yet, the Mavericks, when they get it close, they seem unbeatable.

Luca Donchich gets the switch.

Rudy Gobert, top of the key, step back, made three, game over, Mavericks

take two in Minnesota. Mo, we got to talk first about the switch because that's been the topic

of the conversation all weekend. Jaden McDaniels clearly should not have given up the switch. It was a soft switch.

I don't think anyone's debating that. It was by design. It wasn't a mistake. You got everybody

that keeps saying it's a soft switch. Minnesota did it the possession before and Rudy pushed

Luca inside the three point line. They got a miss out of that.

Chris Finch literally said we were switching it in his press conference.

Now, should they be switching is an entirely different question than what we're talking about.
