cast. I'm going to do a little, you know, one of the things I wanted to do is I'm in the solutions

business these days right we want to talk about how can we sort of get rid of this

divide that we have is there a way to knit communities back together, knit the country back together,

get people to call themselves Americans before they call themselves Democrats or Republicans

or MAGA or whatever you want to describe these days.

Well, I'm going to do that a little bit differently today.

My guest coming up is Mora Moynehan.

She is the daughter of Daniel. My guest coming up is Mora Moynehan.

She is the daughter of Daniel Patrick Moynihan

and Elizabeth Moynihan.

Daniel Patrick Moynihan

is best known for being a United States senator from New York for a couple of decades.

He's also somebody, as you will learn from his daughter, Mora, who is probably the only person

who served four consecutive administrations

two D's two ours.

That's not something that you see very often.

I believe he left the Ford administration

to run for the United States Senate as a Democrat.

So that just tells you sort of the mindset he always had.

And in fact, it was talking about bipartisanship

as you learn as to what inspired then President Nixon to try to convince a young Daniel Patrick Moynihan to join
