you say this campaign to undermine an incoming presidential administration, which we'll talk

about the details in a moment, is not just another political scandal why is it more than that

in your mind well I mean like many other people we are kind of watching all

these things unfold and and continue to unfold and I've if you step back and

take a broader look at it I find this to be quite disturbing and quite problematic.

The starting point of my coming to write this essay was about what I consider to be the crown jewel,

if you will, of American constitutionalism, which is the peaceful transition between opposing

political parties, something that we take for granted, but really did not occur in history,
