Because Matthew 5 is a little bit longer, I had to split it in half.

But the Word of God deals with some incredible and sensitive topics.

And I'm excited to delve delve deeper into this matthew is appealing to the jews that jesus is the christ that he is their savior but not just their savior but the savior of

the world that he did not come to

just save um the jews are a select elitist group but he came to die and save uh the whole world um i've been enjoying walking with you through this series.

In Matthew 5, we discussed the beatitudes, which are displaying a kingdom community that the disciple

is living within eternity consciousness.

The disciple is walking with an eternal consciousness that transcends their culture.

And the disciple lives differently than anyone else in the world,

because it is taking on the eternal teachings of their master, of their teacher.

And they are not controlled or subjected to the cultures that they are surrounded by.

This is what Matthew 5 is all about.

It's giving a higher standard that is greater than behaviors,

but something that is fueled on the inside, a kingdom on the inside.

Later, he would say when someone tells you that the kingdom is here or there,

he said, don't follow them.

He said, for the kingdom of God's wells within you.

And so something internal that begins to overtake the external, something on the inside your
