When the Son of Man comeeth, shall he find faith on the earth?

Lord, I believe, help thou mine unbelief.

May our testimonies be as deep to the strong as that of Jacob.

When confronted by one who sought to destroy his faith declared,

Hello, my friends, and welcome back to Unchaken. I'm Jared Halverson.

Always grateful that you join me for Scripture Study, and grateful for anything you do to help spread the Word,

whether about these lessons or about the lessons of any of my colleagues and friends that are doing similar things.

As many of you know, I study anti-mur religious rhetoric academically, and so I spend a lot of time in Scripture.

But I also spend a lot of time sifting through the kinds of things that are said to attack faith, ours as well as others.

And it's shocking to see how quickly that proliferates, and how much content is being produced around the clock it seems to try to tear down the beliefs of other people.

In some ways, this is the ongoing battle of light and darkness, and anything that you do to help extend that light is a blessing.

Anytime, it's interesting the way algorithms work on social media, on the internet, on YouTube, on podcasts, that they're just trying to extend popularity.

And so if something seems to be popular based on people's likes and clicks and interactions, then they'll just keep extending it to other people that the algorithms assume are like-minded.

I always laugh that they must have- be really confused about me, because half of what I see is so pro-gospel, and half of what I see is so anti-gospel.

They're probably wondering, who is this guy? And what kind of videos or podcasts should we recommend to him?

Well, I do have a strange feed, I'll give you that much. But if you're hoping to help people in their feed, and feed them the bread of life and give them the living water,

then anything you do to interact with quality content helps extend the reach of that content.

So I hope this doesn't come across as self-serving. I don't care to be seen of men, but I do care to let our light so shine, to let the Lord's light so shine so that people can glorify God and see His hand in people's lives.

I hope, and again, whether that's these lessons or the lessons of any of my colleagues or the social media feeds from apostles and prophets and from the church, it's interesting that the way it says- it's derived in Hebrews chapter 12, a cloud of witnesses.

And as we talk about the cloud as far as cloud computing and things, the internet and so on, it's a different kind of cloud of witnesses that we need in our day.
