To Brand or not to Brand.

That is not the question for Mateo Bologna and his New York-based branding firm, Muka.

The question is how to brand in a way that clarifies a company's goals and brings

the company closer to its customers. Mukha's clients include the big and the small,

the national, and the local. They have designed book jackets for Zoli and Harper

Collins and brand identities for Balthazar, Schillers, and Pestise. They've done work

for Adobe and also for menu pages. Food, you may notice, in the

form of restaurants and stores, is prominent in their portfolio. But that's not all they do. To talk about his work with Muka and beyond,
